Wolfie Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to Wolfie (the "Application") for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, created by Majestical Roof LLC (the "Service Provider"). Wolfie is a home music player: it streams music between devices you own over your own Wi-Fi network. The short version is that we don't collect anything, because the app has nothing to send us — there's no account, no server we operate, and no analytics of any kind built into the app.

Information We Collect

None. The Service Provider does not operate any backend or server for Wolfie, and the Application does not include any analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking software of any kind. We have no way to see how you use the app, what's in your music library, or who you are.

Your Music Library

Any folder you point Wolfie at, and anything you download inside the app, stays on your own device or your own Mac. Nothing about your library — file names, metadata, artwork, or the files themselves — is ever uploaded anywhere by the Application.

Local Network Access

Wolfie asks for permission to use your Local Network. This is used exclusively to discover and connect to another copy of Wolfie sharing a library on the same Wi-Fi network (via Bonjour), and to stream music between those devices. This traffic stays on your own network — it is never routed through, or visible to, the Service Provider.

Files and Folders

If you choose a local folder as a music source, Wolfie only accesses the specific folder you select, and only to read music files and their metadata for playback. This happens entirely on-device.

Purchases

Wolfie offers a free trial and a one-time purchase to unlock the full app, handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The Service Provider never sees or processes your payment details — Apple's own Privacy Policy governs that transaction. To determine whether your trial or purchase is active, the app checks a signed record from Apple and stores a small timestamp in your device's Keychain; this stays on your device and is not transmitted to the Service Provider.

Third Parties

Wolfie has no third-party SDKs, embedded ad networks, or analytics libraries of any kind. The only outside party involved at all is Apple, solely for App Store distribution and processing purchases.

Children

Wolfie does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
